On 25 September 2019, Sampietro S.r.l. obtained GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification from ICEA for its fine organic silk and cotton fabrics.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world’s highest standard for organic fibres. The GOTS standard not only verifies the compliance of the entire textile production chain with the requirements of organic production, but also assesses whether environmental and social responsibility requirements are met throughout the entire production chain.
